Hi

Does the signal strength meter at the top right hand corner of BBs relate to the voice, data or both networks?

If I switch off data services completely the signal meter remains active so I'm figuring (probably wrongly) that it's the voice signal meter.

Or is it simply the 'network' signal meter than both voice and data run on top of?

If the signal is weak does that affect both data and voice traffic?

Btw, you can try the following shortcut to get digital signal strength, in decibels per meter (I think):

Alt+NMLL

100 - poor
80 - average
50 - excellent

The same info is available at the bottom of this screen:
