Hey Members,

I am considering buying a BB. I have spent a few hours on this forum trying to solve my dilemma. I do not need any email service. I need access to mobile quotes. I find it hard to believe that this is impossible without the data plan. Is there any way? I can get quotes now with sprint and I do not have an BB or internet plan.

Yes you can. However, you will need to have them delivered via text (SMS). If you look, you can generally find SMS subscriptions available. Just remember to keep the STOP number available for when you wish to cancel said subscription.

I am not interested in sms quotes. I want to be able to view a delayed market quote of the S&P500 for example.

Then you need a Blackberry Data Plan.
Without a Blackberry Data Plan, all you have available on your device is Phone and SMS.
That's just the way it is.
