Default Browser STILL not showing up

Please Login to Remove!

I got T-Mobile with blackberry unlimited internet and a 7230, but there is still no icon. Ive used the search option for over 4 hours now, and tried just about every option. Ive sent the books from BWC, ive installed OS 4.0, ive regestered host table and got a verification message. I cant figure it out, and I cant find a link to use the trial of Webviewer. Any help would be great, thanks.

Are you able to access the browser by pressing and holding the Alt key, pressing and releasing the Escape button, and using the trackwheel to select the browser icon?

No, its not there. I just used javaloader and wiped the device and reinstalled os 4.0... now when I reset the blackberry it just gives a text list of apps (no icon), and when I try to click on one, it gives me errors. This thing is nothing but problems it seems like...

That's strange. I would try a fresh download of 4.0, in case the files have become corrupted.

Yeah, I did a javaloader wipe (twice) and a 4.0 install (twice) and finally it works. Thanks.

Dude -

I am in the exact same boat. T-mobile will not replace or repair the blackberry. We are basically left out to pasture.

RIM told me it is a known issue with a very small number of 7230's, that 4.0 will cause the internet to disappear.

With my issue, I am registered on the t-mobile noetwork, but not the RIM network. It sucks.

I have removed the application, went to a cheaper plan and am petitioning T-mobile to provide me a $10/month discount on my bill becasue I am without 1/3 of the internet services becasue of their upgrade. I still have email and SMS ...

Yeah - it sucks.

I am going to drop their service and pick up a sprint BB. Sprint provides my cell phone service (different device) so I figure I will just combine the two.

T-Mobile sucks
