I found something on Best Buy's website. The brand is Lenmar and it's only 1300 mah, but it says it's a replacement for the DX-1 that comes in the Tour. I'd like to find a the same battery that comes with the phone. I'm also looking for a simple charger for the battery.

I know I can order these things online, but I'd like to find them in a store before I do that. I have to go out of town for work(last minute) and I was hoping to find something before Friday morning. I have some store options in Atlanta. I don't really understand why Verizon doesn't carry these things.

I have not seen the OEM battery anywhere. Not even in the Sprint Store where I bought my Tour. They only offer that DX-1 1300mAh replacement. The Tour comes with a 1400mAh battery from the factory however.

Seidio Online has fast shipping, decent prices, and a 1600mAh battery available now. On 9/4 they begin shipping a 2600mAh battery for the Tour.

I found a battery at Fry's Electronics. It was listed for the Storm, but it's the same 1400mahD-X1 that comes with the Tour. I got it for $32. I just wish they had the charger.

Interesting thing today. I stopped by a Verizon store that I've never been to to see if they carried a battery charger. The woman, in a smart mouth tone, said "I've been working here 3 years and I've never heard of a charger for a BlackBerry battery". It was one of those you had to be there deals. She seemed real put out when I told her that they did, in fact, exist. I'm usually mild mannered, but the uncalled for attitude rubbed me wrong. My reply? "Want a cookie? I've been a Verizon Customer since 1994. Had the same # since then, too. I probably know more about it than you. You might want to do a little research on your products." I probably should've said nothing, but whatever.

I'll just get a charger shipped when I'm out of town next week.
