Does anyone in this forum know how to solve this:

Basically I think my application is blocking when I make UiApplication.getUiApplication().popScreen(active) ; and thus I get the "Application is not responding; process XPTO terminated" error.

Any ideas?

Why are you calling interrupt on actionThread? You aren't waiting or sleeping the thread. Your thread holds the event lock, making it the event thread, pops a screen off the stack, which causes onUndisplay to be called, where you interrupt actionThread which is the event thread and the thread which calls interrupt. I think this is the cause of your problem.

The way I usually do this (pop a screen off the stack when a thread completes) is to use invokeLater.

I assume you are trying to stop the thread when the user manually exits the screen. The way to do this is somehow cause the thread to voluntarily exit. Perhaps by closing the open connections and streams used to get the http data.
