Anyone else finding their "new and improved" RIM cases falling apart? There is no stitching on the flap of the new cases -- it appears to be glued only -- and the layers are starting to de-laminate. The old cases were rugged enough to outlast the life of the phone. Now it looks like you'll get six months at best.

I never use the OEM cases anyway.

Saw mention of RIM PlayBook cases being recalled from stores for this reason. So it sounds like they may have made the same error with handset holsters.

I still have the original case from my 9000. Holds the Torch well enough.

I'm using the OEM holster for my old Curve 8310. I drove over it with the Curve in it, and while the Curve did not survive, the holster did. Works great with the Torch.
