Blackberry displays email sorted by Push time.
How can I sort by the messages’ actual Sent time?

This becomes really annoying when I am out of coverage (or on the phone) for a significant period of time, and then get blasted by all of my lagging messages at one time.

I’m surprised that I could not find this answer in the forum already. Maybe I wasn’t wording my search well enough.

There is no sorting by actual sent time. I wish there was myself.

Hey Doug,
Fancy having you answer my question… I am just about to follow your advice that you don’t recommend. I want to populate my new BB with old messages by moving my messages out of my Exchange Inbox and then back. I find myself going back for 3 month old messages all of the time as I’m always on the road w/my BB. It’d be nice if they weren’t all clumped under one date.

So there must be a way to write a tool to sort via Sent time, right? I mean the message headers contain the Sent time. There’s got to be a way to manipulate that information. Here’s to wishful thinking…
