Hi, I'm newly registered, but I've been using the forum as a research tool for ages.

I'm an office manager. Even though I don't actually have my OWN Blackberry, I'm responsible for the 30 or so that other members of the company have.

We have a new employee who needs a BB, and she would like to stay with Verizon. It looks like the choices for her would be the Pearl 8130, the 8703e, or the 8830 World Edition. I've done research on each phone, but I wanted to ask the experts what they think would be the best phone choice for a business envirmonment. She'd like a smaller device if possible, so I'm leaning toward the Pearl for her.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

I prefer a full keyboard so the the 8830 is the one I would go with, as it is the newer of the two (8703 and 8830).

Depends upon if she is comfortable with the SureType of the Pearl or the QWERTY of the 8703 and 8830.

That is the major difference and it is a big one for most people. I would let her make the choice.
