Hi,

I've been using BES 4.0 since yesterday afternoon for one user and I checked the database file this morning and I see that .mdf file is 100M and the .ldf file is 25M.
Is it normal 25M for 2 days log?

That sounds similar to what i was getting when I first installed. Make sure the log files are set to unlimited though, or you'll see problems.

hmmm, i just added registry entry to set maximum file age to 30 days for all logs.
What problem i'll see?

The BES logs aren't in the database files, theyre in text files in the logs directory.

As for the database files being that big...strange.

According to RIM, the main DB will start at 100MB and will grow itself in 25MB increments, so you're right on the money.
