Default event id 20000

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

After pushed install DST fix for BB, I found this on my log files:
EventID 20000
Source: Blackberry Policy Service
Desc: Found a memory cached PackageDB <hexanumber> for HardwareID .... and flashSize ....

Also another one:
Desc: Module aliases: 2 profiders for 25 targets.

Any Idea how to remove the error?

Thanks,

I recall reading on here (or maybe some other BB forum), that these messages are the result of your BES polling the handhelds (every 4 hours) to determine if the assigned software configuration needs to be pushed out the the device.

These messages pop up when the polled devices already have the necessary software installed.

No, still get the error,

I get 7 errors with different DB and hardware ID, and 4 module aliases error every 4 hours.

I checked on the servers, patch is already installed on all of devices.
I also checked our previous devices that we have returned to provider but those hardware ID's don't match

Minx,

If you verified that the patch has been pushed out and applied to all devices, you shouldbe able to remove the software configuration for each device in the BES and the errors will disappear.

I'm having the same issue. 37 updates for the 37 BB's I have I guess? The software config you are referring to is the DST patch?

jymkata: I ran dstquery, everything is OK, patch is installed on all devices (except one that still run on 2.1) but I couldn't remove the application from BES

JoveroC: Yes, mine is for DST patch

In our case we would rather not remove the DST software configuration from user devices as the DST patch has to be applied anytime you wipe or deliver a new handheld.
