Hi,

We have BES, our provider is Rogers. Some of my users use 7290 and they are going to travel to Europe. I checked on Rogers' site, the roaming charge is so expensive. Rogers's customer service told me that they can unlock the unit for $250 and then we can buy as per you go sim card.
My question is, what the email address they will be using it? Is it still the same like they have with BES?

They won't have ANY email, just voice, also no web access. With a foreign prepaid sim the 7290 will be nothing more than a nice looking phone.

Better they still use their 7290 to receive text messaging (free to receive) and buy cheapy phone.
