Default block a call from a specific #?

is there a way to block a call from a specific # on my bb? if yes, how...thx in advance.

You need a third party product. Check the aftermarket forum and search for "call blocking" or "call screening".

or do it my way, program the number into your phone and set it up to have no ringer, therefore you get no alerts of their call until they leave voicemail and you dont pay a dime for the feature

do u have a step by step instruction how to do this? i know u have to create a profiles right? but from there, do u use "new profile" or "new exception?"

You can create a new exception; or just add the custom tune to the contact.

Either way, you need to add the phone number, which you want to ignore, into the address book.

When editing the contact, select Add Custom Phone Tune from the menu. One of the options should be MUTE. The phone show an incoming call and register the missed call, but you will hear no sound. If I recall correctly, however, the phone will still vibrate when in a vibrating profile.
