The BlackBerry will not read songs that have DRMs. Most likely the songs that you purchased a license for through iTunes have DRMs. You can burn the songs to a CD and then re-rip them and the re-ripped songs will not have DRMs. You can copy these songs to your BlackBerry.

iTunes Plus purchased tracks should work, as well as some other sources like Amazon MP3, as those have no DRM from the start.

WAIT!!!!!!! CD Burn and Rip will lose quality. Download DoubleTwist. It turns any DRM song into MP3 (but preserves the original song, so the .mp3 doesn't overwrite the .m4p file)

Not necessarily. It depends on what equipment the OP has - CDs I burn out of iTunes have the exact same quality that they do in the program.

Also, you can use Audacity to convert the files into mp3s. Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder

I use Melodycan converter cause the reason is:

1. easy to use, only a few clicks to put files into my iPod
2. very fast conversion which saved me lots of time - 50x
3. had a good balance between file size and output video quality
4. Support 64 bit OS

there is no way to convert a DRM'd song without losing quality. even programs that stip the DRM out are actually converting it to an MP3, which ends up with quality loss. Most of the time the loss is so small that 95% of people won't be able to tell the difference in quality, but it is lost.
