Ok, anyone know anything about black friday sales?

I'm looking to get the bold 9700 on T-Mo.

Curious if anyone has any dirt on sales, if there will be any.

Makes sense that they would honestly.

I'm highly doubtful that this phone would be sold at a huge discount this close to the release date.

But if it does, I'm taking mine back to TMo and buying the one on sale.

Do you need to sign up on a new 2yr contract? I'm still on contract and might not be eligible. Well, let me take a look.

Yeah, only for "new" 2 yr contracts. You get a discount for renewing your contract too but it's 299 for that.

I on the other hand have a sweet rate plan with unlimited text for $60 that I don't want to give up.

For a straight-up purchase, Walmart is selling this phone for $499 as opposed to TMo's $449. What the????

Yes a 2yr contract is required. I pre-ordered one today from ATT, now it's just a painful waiting game.

I just sucked it up and purchased it at the retail price of $449 (at T-Mo). I couldn't wait until April/May just to pay $200 for an old phone by then.

Getting the Bold 9700 for essentially free for a new subscriber is an "AWESOME" deal though.

I read somewhere (rumor), that it would go for $149.99 on black friday or something. Dont remembe where I read it. Not much, but heck its $50.

Would hate to buy it now only to see it drops lke $50 a few days later. LOL

Yeah I've heard the rumors of $149.99 at TMO on Black Friday, but haven't confirmed them yet. However, I do know WireFly is having an extraordinary sale on the Storm2 and 9700 on ATT the whole weekend of Black Friday.

just say something on Tmonew about T-mobile holiday says.

9700 is listed with another $50 off (making it $149.99).

Their saying sale is nov 20 - 22 (which means today!).

However, I don't see or hear anything of this through tmobile.

Just checked out the offer on Wirefly. If I can truly extend my contract another 2 yrs, it is a great deal. Will let you know what I find out.
