Question, I am with Rogers and I am sure most of you know we get hammered on the data charges and im sick of it. I dont know a ton about these things but was wondering if anyone knows.


I want to be able to check the scores of games and things going on.

Now when i want the scores i hit tsn.ca and use the browser, but the data charges are killing me.

Are there any other sites, maybe with less data usage, or any other way you guys can think of.

I'm a fan of the WAP ESPN site. It came bookmarked in my BB so it was the first site I saw but it's given me all the information I've needed.

send a SMS to 44636, that is usa today. just type in say DALLAS COWBOYS or TEXAS LONGHORNS. Then they will send you reply with latest info, you may get a confimation message first time you use to verify you agree to their terms. It is free as long as you have text messages

I like espn also. nfl.com is also pretty good. for football scores.

fyi Yahoo updated its interface today. Log in on an HTML browser after setting up My Sports on a PC and see if you like that.

I believe Google has a similar service. Offers movie times etc.

wap.espn.com works great for me! I used the 'auto refresh' feature this weekend to keep tabs on the Eagles game..while I was at a 25th anniversery luncheon. It auto refreshes and puts the details of each play...really neat..

The only bad thing...the auto refresh eats through your battery really quick!
