Default BES 4.1.5 on VMware

We are looking at p-to-v option for BES on ESX. BES is currently using remote SQL backend that will not be moving. Any known issues?

Best to make a new VM install BES and do a knife edge cutover.

How to perform a knife-edge cutover for BlackBerry Enterprise Server software versions 4.0 and 4.1

You can use the ESX P to V convertor. Works great. There are several other threads on this very subject.

P to V is nice, but the BES is easy to knife edge to new hardware or VM.

So why not go with a fresh new VM since you have the chance.
