Gotcha. Thanks for the info. Today is my 3rd day on 4.5.0.77, and have probably answered the phone ~100 times in that period. I haven't encountered this issue at all

I did not think I had it either, but it is there...guaranteed. It is real breif, and you can only notice if there is a lot of noise on the other end. My wife called me one time and my kids were screaming in the background, I nearly dropped the phone it startled me so bad. Most the time it is not an issue because the person calling is quietly waiting for you to answer. However, when someone calls from a real noisy place (professional sporting event, concert, etc...) it is annoying.

I really notice it because my office voicemail notifies me when I have a new message. The automated voice is usually nice and load when I answer the call. It does seem to be a bit shorter in duration now, but still very noticeable.

BB internet browser now defaults to mobile.blackberry.com and i can't figure out how to change it back to the "go to" page. haven't really seen many other changes and I still get the damned speakerphone blast

Well got up and installed .97 on my 8330. So far so good, the install went without a hitch. I'll let you know how things go.
