Ive shifted from BB8300 to BB8310 but the battery drains very fast.
Hardly lasts a day while 8300's battery easily lasted 2-3 days with same usage.
Only thing I can think of is GPS. Does it drain battery fast? I dont have it on all the time. In fact I hardly use it.
Does it stay on in the background or something? Ive been careful to EXIT from BB maps and Google maps each time i use them.

What otehr software are you using and allowing to run in the background?

2-3 days is alot to expect unless you hardly use your phone at all.

I do 2000 + or - minutes a month and come home with 50 to 60% at the end of the day. All really depends on how much you use it and what kinda of coverage you have.

Poor coverage = poor battery life.

I am using BlackBerry 8300 and battery stays for 2-3 days, i am also using GPS. Check your battery it could be the problem with it. Vendor can help!!

Might be the battery sometimes there defective. I'd try the battery from the 8300 in the 8310 see what that does.

wow really? my battery is lucky if it lasts for a day.. kind of a heavy user lol..

I'm not a heavy user and my 8310 battery hardly makes it through an entire day. I'm usually in the red with a low battery warning by the time I go to bed.

I guess I should have broke it in or something???

Are the batteries of BB 8300 and 8310 the same?
They looked different but not sure.

Most Common Battery problem comes from leaving GPS on. When you are done using it, make sure you exit the program that uses GPS (such as google map).

How to make sure you have exited it? [Alt]+[Back] to cycle through opened programs. Make sure Google Map in not one of the opened programs.

Close them by "exit" in the drop down menu.
