Reminds me of the Samsung 530. What's the matter with Black??

I don't think its a gold housing. I think its just the color of the pics. The camera was probably not white balanced for the lighting conditions.

The 7100g isn't going to win any beauty contests, but this poopy green-gold color is really putrid.

It is probably the same silver as the 7100g....I've seen mine in pictures under flourescent light and it looks the same color....always have to adjust the saturation level to correct. I would do it to these to show you...but I'm too lazy.

I do not understand the hoopla over the 7100 series, you cannot take two steps sideways here in this forum or anywhere else for that matter without hearing the numerous complaints about this gadget. Yet people are linning up for it. You are just buying a new and improved version of the same problems you have now. Let someone else be the guinea pig for this, wait a few months, listen to what others complaints will be, I am willing to bet that you will have the old ones rehashed, and then, the exception being that now you have two bad phones in your hands. It will be there in a few months, if I am wrong and it proves to be a good phone You can pick it up then.

Well as a VZW user who does not like the 7250 for its phone form factor and no send/end key AND no 87xx release until mid-06, the 7130e will get me back on a BB again.
I'm willing to put up with some of the shortfalls (sure-type) until VZW releases the newer device. I think most of us here understand this.

The 7250 has a send key, it is the return key, on the right side with the arrow on it, and it has and end key, it is on the right side of the phone, just below the track wheel. Are they dedicated semi useless keys, no they are multitaksting keys but they do the same function wih just as much grace and functionality as dedicated ones would. Why anyone cannot adapt to that, yet manage to adapt to Sure Type escapes my comprehension. As far as the phone being a bit wider and as a result maybe a little akward to use as a phone, my suggestion and advice is to get a bluetooth handset. It solves the width and akwardness problem and besides keeps you legal with regards to handheld operation of phones while in a vehicle. However, that is just my humble opinion, and I realize that not everyone is in agreement.

I can assure it's not gold, it's a dark gunship greyish color and whoever took those pictures totally peed on the exposure.

They should make one that looks like an ipod as far as having a mirror backing with the white plastic clear look over the front. HEHE, that would rule. You know it, dont lie, just say it, see, told ya!
