Question Question for Curve users who upgraded from a Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

Okay, I really like my Curve, but I've had it for almost three weeks now and am still typing at a pathetic pace in comparison to how fast I was on my Pearl. Has anyone else had a similarly slow learning curve for getting your typing up to speed on the Curve?

It's definitely nice not having the SureType errors that I would run into from time to time with the Pearl, but I could really type FAST on that thing (even compensating for the errors)... not so much with the Curve. What's the deal? Has anyone else had this problem? Does it just take a long time to "learn" the Curve keyboard?

Really, this is my only gripe about the Curve.. I just hate having my text entry be so slow!

i'm not "slow" but i am not as fast as i'd like to be. the keys are small and i find that i hit the wrong keys a lot because i have pretty fat thumbs. and the scrolling back isn't too quick when i realize i've made a mistake. i love that it's a physical keyboard and not a virtual one, but i was much, much faster on an iphone, because it'd guess those area mistakes correct more often than they'd guess them wrong. with one finger i was faster than i am on the curve with two thumbs.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry8320/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

It took me about a month and a half to adjust. I miss suretype but really enjoy the full keyboard.

I took me a few days to get use to the keyboard at first. I had to get use to the larger keyboard and the smaller keys. Even thought I'm use to it now I still mess up a few worss every now and then thank God for the spell check. so calm down you'll get use to it.
