Hi,
I just got a blackberry about a month ago. I purchased the Holux GPSlim 240 Bluetooth receiver and am using the trial version of Telenav. It works.

I downloaded Wayfinder and cannot get it to lock onto a satellite signal. When I click "Satellite Info" it just sits there with "Waiting for Satellite Data" displayed on the screen.

I just downloaded Mapquest Navigator (after reading through the forums) hoping that it might work even though it is not supported on the Cingular 8700. It installed and it also cannot find the GPS. It shows disconnected. I can start bbmaps and the GPS from there but it still won't start within Navigator. Has anyone had anymore success getting this to work or any other workarounds? Also, any ideas what might be wrong with Wayfinder. I would like to be able to see and use all 3 before I decide which one I'd like to purchase.

Angie, see my GPS review. Mapquest would not run on my 8700. Not designed for it on Cingular. Wayfinder will if you register for the trial.
