Anything I read was not only from a long time ago but they all seemed to be about some sort of triple or quadruple rebate promotion that went sour.

One of the reasons I want this phone is for the unlimited @ home (UMA on both lines will cost $20) which will greatly reduce the amount of minutes we use, allowing me to select the lower $59.99 myFaves 1000 promo family plan. Amazon offers this plan but this other company does not.

If it weren't for this limitation then I would have gotten the phones sooner and with a 1-year contract. I paid $200 for two lines from Amazon for 2 years but this would have been $250 for two lines for 1 year. And 2 weeks sooner.
1 thing i noticed about amazon was that their plans differed from t-mobile(amazon doesnt offer unlimited fam messaging). also, on t-mobile's site the promo period for the family $59.99 plan wasnt there, so that may be why it wasnt available from ushop

Allright I just pulled the trigger. I chose the cheaper shipping, so it might be a few days for me. I went one-year contract for $75 after rebates.

I am a sales rep for ushop(Venicom). We, as everyone else that deals with 1-2k customers each month have complaints of course. However everything is straight forward. Data plans and minimum family plan(79.99) is only required only for the first 4 months.

We have your activation fee credited back to your account on your 2nd months bill. Feel free to PIN with any questions.

These guys are the real deal.... I am very happy with how my transaction went down last week. I ordered an 8320 on Thurs., confirmation emails and address verification on Friday, phones were backordered but came in Monday so mine shipped overnight (I chose that option) and I had it in hand on Tues.!

VERY courteous CS and I'm thrilled they offer a 1 year contract with a reasonable trade of in the purchase price.

The absolute deal is: NO changes to your account for the first 4 months without calling them to do it instead of T-Mo. No big deal.... I already decided to fire up BES instead of BIS, so I just called them (ushopwireless) this afternoon to and it should be up by tomorrow. Fair and reasonable IMHO in trade for saving $175 and getting a 1-year contract instead of 2!

So far I'm happy, I'll post back if anything changes!

Well I had to call tmobile to port my phone number from ATT. I hope that doesn't violate contract.

It wouldn't. Only changes to the actual voice/data plan.

Try a dialup accelerator, it helps speeds things up for EDGE tethering. I currently use Propel (Propel's website)
