I have the following situation:

> BES 5.0.3 MR6

> We move our SQL database to a SQL cluster
> We have two BES server in our environment
> We have on Blackberry Administration Server on which is installed the following:
Blackberry Administration Service
Blackberry Monitoring Service
> The Database of the Monitoring is installed on the SQL that will be moved

What is the best way to do the migration
1. Is it possible to move the monitoring database from old to new SQL server without uninstalling and reinstalling the Blackberry Monitoring Service?
2. Is it possible to export all the configuration that has been done in Blackberry Monitoring Service?

Yes to all.
Stop all BES Services running on BES and BAS.
Backup and restore the SQL databases to the new SQL Server.
Run the setup.exe on BAS to point BMSStore to the new SQL Server.
All your settings should stay intact.

By the way, the Monitoring Service is crap. They heard the howl of dismay from BES Admins worldwide and said to themselves, "Yep, we screwed up again. Let's ditch it!" Hence the reason that BlackBerry ended support for it Feb 20, 2012.
