Please Login to Remove!

I was at McDonalds and i was gonna link up to their hotspot and i noticed under "Manage Connections" Wi-fi isnt even an option anymore. Im running the leaked 4.7.0.113 beta on a Unlocked Storm using tmobile, now i dont know if it happened with this leak but i sure hope i can get it back. Anyone else know what a brotha can do?

Read your manual?

In it, you will find that the current Storm models do not have WiFi radios.

With BB you don't need wifi. You already have an internet connection from everywhere where you can make a phone call or with another word where you have access to your mobile network. Wifi is necessary for non-blackberry devices.

Than you are stationary person, not mobile. BB is a mobile device with messaging facilities for mobile people. Without wifi BB is always connected to internet even in the middle of no where and no need a wifi connection to check emails. I don't think BB poeple need really a wifi connection. Just a fantasy...

There haven't been any CDMA Blackberry's with WIFI, that would be a big change for RIM if it happens.

The 9520 will not be CDMA. It will be a GSM device for Rogers' GSM network, and is rumored to have Wi-fi.

Marketing.

Vodafone/Verizon, the up-until-recently exclusive purveyors of the Storm, do not market WiFi to their customers like Rogers and T-Mobile do.
