how many free RAM is availible when you open the task manager ?
How man ram consumes the BAS ?

Also check the logs of the BES, you find them in the logs folder, in the program folder, wehere the BES installed.

maybe, something went wrong during the upgrade ?
Did you run the upgrader as the besadmin ?
Where there any error messages, or did the upgrade finish with a sucess message ?
(i once had the case, that, the upgrader which was expected to continue after a restart did nothing, but again running the upgrader maually finished the install process)

the SQLServer can run als local service or network service, but not, as besadmin.

Have you also looked into the logs of the running BES (not the logs which where produced during the upgrade) ? For every error you have in the console you should most likeley find something there.

"com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerExcepti on: Cannot open database requested in login 'BESmgmt1'. Login fails"

This error is known in the BES knowledgebase:
KB19089-The BlackBerry MDS Connection Services will not stay started after the BlackBerry Configuration Database move or Cutover

is your MDS service running, does the description in the KB article matches your error ?

your BES database is called "BESmgmt1" not "BESmgmt". This is not an error if it was setup on purpose. But also check your Database name.

And your besmgmt database is really called "besgmgt1" and you dont have another database which maybe isa called "besmgmt" ?

Have you read this ?
http://www.blackberryforums.com/bes-...bes-5-0-a.html
Dont know, if this matches your configuration because here the problem was that if your try to use base from a remote site it was slow, and I guess you are in the same network then the server.
