Question Blackberry Playbook help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

Hope someone can help me with this:

Was thinking of trying to get a Blackberry Playbook (a few still seem to be out there) and didn't quite understand the wifi and 4G thingy -

1) If you get wifi only Playbook, this means you will only be able to access the net with your wifi at home and only at wifi hotspots when out, right?

2) If you get a Playbook with wifi and 4G i.e. both, then you can connect to the net anytime, anywhere you are out and don't need to locate a wifi hotspot?

3) Is the 4G Playbook (where you can access the net without wifi hotspots/wifi etc) available in 64GB? (This is the really important question for me). And does this have both wifi and 4G or only 4G?

Many thanks and would be so grateful if anyone can help with info or thoughts in any way at all ... And sorry for the novice questions...

First, I've only seen the 4G Playbook in 32GB versions. I haven't seen 64GB versions.

The 4G version will do wifi and 4G

Thanks so much for the reply. Yeah, I thought so from what I've read so far in tech articles on the web - 4G version seems to be in 32gb.

But what got me confused is the ads for the Blackberry Playbook when I was searching to buy - when I read the tech specs in the ad, the bit for 'Internet Connectivity' is stated as 'Wifi, Wifi + 4G' and this was for 64gb Playbook. At first I thought there was a mistake in the ad, but a few of them are advertising like that. (~Confused~).

I appreciate the reply - it gives me some more pause for thought before buying.
