Hi All,

I use BB 8520. no data plan, but I have BMM installed. I learned from the forum that I can use BBM for Data calls over WiFi. Now I have gotten friend request on BBM but cannot seem to 'add' them. Any advice? thanks in advance,

You need a BlackBerry data plan to use BBM.

I believe that is incorrect for older BlackBerrys.
