Hi:

Like numerous other users, my 8830 holster clip broke at the point where the metal pin goes through the side. I saved all the broken parts like the metal spring piece, the outer clip and the pin.

I put all the parts back together and put a black plastic cable tie around the back and front clips right over where the metal pin goes through the sides, then tightened it, and snipped off the excess cable. The attached picture is what it looks like after the repair.

It is even better than before it broke .
