Default Google, Canada?

How come when I go to Google on my 7100i, it brings up Googla.ca? I cannot override this by manually entering it.

I assume this is because RIM is a Canadian company.

Seems strange......

I think if you click on the link on the google canada page for the google us site that will fix that for you

if you clean the cache and then it will go to Google US but after some time it will switch to canadian, I heard that it is actually google who is doing this redirect. so nothing to worry about it.. it still works great.

I had already cleared the cache and history and entered www.google.com and it went right to Google canada again.

I guess it still works the same, I just though it was worth noting.

right, if you are on BES located inside the US, you shouldn't be redirected to google.ca

if you aren't on BES, all data is routed through canada?

Nope. I'm a stand-alone user. Can't even get my work-related email-via the BB, just my home-based stuff, eh?
