[Ouchy Dathurts]

Hello, I'm new here, first time Blackberry owner. I just got the 8900 with T-mobile yesterday. I didn't get a data plan but if I have wifi (at home, friends, work, etc) I should be able to access the internet. Being that I'm usually at one of those places I should be fine. However when I try and open the browser it says I don't have a data plan.

It says I'm getting a UMA signal and my brother (who works IT and with Blackberrys) set up the wifi for it but apparently never tested the browser. I've tried to go in and disable T-zones so wifi is the only option. I've switched the Tmobile browser to the Hotspot browser and still get nothing.

If anyone can help this rookie out that'd be great =)

Found the thread in question, although I swear to god I did what it said to do before and it didn't work but now it does =P

It happens sometimes.. but glad it is working for you now.
