Default please help, BB 8900 still showing old IMEI

Please Login to Remove!

i have a blackberry 8900 that was on orange, i ordered an unlocking code and followed the steps given, the code was accepted and now accepts my simm card, although edge is displayed in small letters, and i cannot make/receive calls or txt, when i go to status, it is still showing the old IMEI, it will not accept the code again as it is saying all disabled. is there something i havent done or is there a way i can fix this,
thank you in advance

shazza, your IMEI will never change.

Additionally, having only lower case edge will not keep your voice calling from working, lower case edge will not receive or transmit data.

Yea, do you have THE BlackBerry Data Plan on your mobile provider account?
You need to.
