Question T-Mobile took out Unlimited BB Email $9.99 plan?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,

I recently picked up 2 Javelins. at the store they told me that T-Mobile no longer offers the $9.99/m Unlimited email plan. Instead now I gotta sign up for the $24.99/m Data Plan. What's going on? Is this a phone specific feature? or T-mobile really pulled the 9.99 unlimited email plan? cuz this kind of sucks! i dont need web on my fone. Just want the email to be pushed in :( ...

It's not phone specific. T-Mobile has nixed the 9.99 email plan and your lowest choice is now the 24.99 combined data/SMS/MMS plan you mentioned.

However, if you had the 9.99 add-on already, it should not have been removed, to my knowledge.

That is correct ! In my other berry I just have the email plan and it continues to remain as it is.. However if I cancel the service and then wanna go back to it again.. I would not have that option. I would be then forced to go for the 24.99 monthly plan.

Thumbs up Is possible

Hi there! Is true, TMO took out this unlimited BB email plan, BUT.....an hour ago, today, 03/14/09 I added to my plan. I used to have unlimited data for $24.99. I called CSR and explained , very politely that I cannot afford to keep this plan, but I will consider the $9.99 unlimited email BIS plan, even so I knew is no longer available (called 2 weeks ago and I was told so). The guy understood the situation, put me on hold and....voila....I got it! Now i saved $14.99/mo. So happy with this. He even gave me a free month of emails ($9.99 value) ! Cannot be more happier! Is worth it to try. They know the economy is bad and many ppl are struggling, so if you are respectful, they can help you. Good luck! )

You are really lucky. T-Mobile customer care is just too good.

T-mobile recently made a ton of changes. That's because they suck. They also steal money from you so it is actually cheaper to get AT&T. That was my experience.

Then why even say anything in the first place?

I am new to T-Mobile and have found their CS to be top notch. Their coverage in my area so far seems to be slightly better than AT&T. Plus I saved about $55 each month by moving all of my communication services, except DSL, over to T-Mobile.

So for $25 you get email/data+400 smstxt? That's what you used to pay, except the sms was ala carte for $5.
