Default 7100i Subscriber ID???

Please Login to Remove!

Does anybody know how to get the Sub ID on the 7100i blackberry? My friend told me to go to "Menu--->Net--->Nextel.com--->Sub ID" but I don't have a menu option on my device. He has a different device so I guess his options are different than mines.

Any help will be most appreciated. I tried searching the forums but did not find anything. Thanks.

Just curious - what do you want/need the sub id for? I don't know how to find it either, but have never needed it for anything.

My friend was asking for my SUB ID. He was trying to get AIM to work on my device.

I can't believe AIM would require your Sub ID.....perhaps your PIN, though. But I don't use AIM on mine, so I don't know for sure.

I don't use AIM on my 7100i, so I couldn't tell you for sure either. If all else fails, you can put your parachute on and jump into hell. By hell, I mean calling Nextel/Sprint Customer Service.

All the IDs you will ever need are in the control (little wrench if that helps) and if needed, sometimes on the SIM itself or under the bat.

the sub id is what locks your phone to a certain carrier. i.e. using a 7100g from cingular on t-mobile's network. or trying to use your phone out of the country.
