Default IM from AIM whenever I turn on my BB7230

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I turn on my BB I get a series of 2-3 popup boxes that state:

IM from AIM
http://64.12.201.44:80/?C=L&R-88849&service=tmobile
Load
Postpone
Ignore

I have tried all options and it does no good. If I try to load I get a message that AIM is not logged in. I do not use AIM!!

Suggestions on how to get rid of this? It is annoying.

Exactly I have the same problem and I can't even figure out how to get rid of it. This has been going on for about 3 months.

I gotta ask .... Have you tried to disable "enable IM autostart" from the "Settings" - "IM Options" ?

I can not find such a screen on the T Mobile 7730, however if AIM is logged in and i get the messager and load the message, I get an empty AIM message. If AIM is not logged in I get a "not logged in" message. It was a good question and perhaps if you can point me to the appropriate screen it will solve the issue.

One of the first things that I tried was turning on AIM and seeing if I loaded the message, would it go away in the future. I thought that perhaps TM was pushing me an update or something but this didn't solve it.

Thanks for your suggestion.

On my 7100t, under the "Settings" menu, there is an option "IM Option". I do not believe that the 7730 has this feature.

Have you tried to remove the AIM application? If you do not use it, you will not miss it. I'll do a little bit of investigating for you to help find a solution.

Thanks for your help.
Unfortunately on the 7730 there is no AIM application but rather it is implemented through the browser.
