When you send messages using the bb messenger does it count as text messages?

theyounginvestor: no, these conversations are counted as data "MB's" in your data plan. Not text messages.

Nope, data plan

you need to get a data plan. The BB messenger uses the data plan you have to deliver your messages. You need a bb data plan to have this work.
