Default Basic question from 7520 owner: shortcut keys

Please Login to Remove!

Just picked up the curve yesterday. Obviously there has been many blackberry made since I bought my 7520 two years ago. So here's my dumb question:

My 7520 had shortcut keys, like you hit "m" and you got right to messages or "a" for address book. I don't seem to get that now on the curve. Am I missing something? or is there an option setup for this?

I guess I could install PocketDay and use it that way, but my 7520 had it integrated. Help from the experts please?

Thanks,
Peter

Turn off dialing from home screen in phone options.

Sparkomatic is correct and will get doing the shortcuts.

WOW, I loved my 7520 when I was with Nextel. The 75XX build quality was still the best with a great keyboard!

Going from a 7520 to the 8300 has got to be quite a change!

Enjoy!

Default Thanks

Worked like a charm. Yes the keyboard was awesome on the 7520. The extra room between keys virtually eliminated any typing errors. And I can't tell you how many times I dropped the thing and it was solid as a rock. You can just feel the build quality when you lifted it. But the downside was the antenna, battery life, and screen resolution.

Thanks again for the help.
