Default Upgrade problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have just tried to download and install updated software for my 9800. The desktop application locked out halfway through the procedure, and I've lost a lot of data on my device. Beware - there seems to be a problem with this upgrade.

Do you have a backup? If so, use restore and you should be good to go. If you don't have a backup or make one on a regular basis, you can't blame the upgrade process for losing your data.

I assume that you followed our instructions in the sticky at the top of the 9800 section?

Look on your PC hard drive for a file with the extension IPD (search *.ipd on the C: drive). The first step of the upgrade is a backup of all data.

You having a problem with the upgrade doesn't translate to a problem with the upgrade.
