Default 7290 and Motorola HS815 headset question

Please Login to Remove!

I just purchased the Motorola HS815 Bluetooth headset. I have upgraded my 7290 to version 4.0. My problem is that my headset works fine except that when I get an incoming call, I can't tap the "call" button on the headset to answer the phone. I have to take the BB out of the holster and answer the call then put it back in the holster and talk through the headset. What am I doing wrong?

Barjohn, just wanted to thank you for your reviews on this site. I am not a Blackberry user, but needed a a Bluetooth headset for a Motorolla E815 that I just purchased. After reading this site, I purchased a Plantronics Yoyager 510 thru Amazon for around $50.00 three weeks ago. I have been very pleased with this headset thus far. I find it very comfortable to wear on an extended basis and find the volume at my end excellent. I actually have to turn down the volume for some callers which is easy with a press of the top button. Callers at the other end don't have a clue that i am using a wireless. The Moto E814 can be set to answer after one ring so I don't have to even push a button for the 510 to automatically answer. The range is great from the phone to the 510, up to 60 feet. I find this usefull when using it at my camper in the mountains which is a poor signal area for cell phones. I must use an external antenna connected to my phone in the camper to get a signal and must leave the phone in the camper. I am still able to talk outside of the camper with excellent reception.
Again, thanks for your review and just love the Plantronics 510.
