Yep, after a few days RIM sends a thank for taking exam e-mail, then after a week or so, the send you a thank you half price voucher, then after X months...when they decide which questions & answers will be used, they mark your exam again and...presto...well not really presto coz they take ages. but yeah, that's the process after taking exam.

The test I took was the BCP-410. It is/was the official test that RIM publishes. 65 questions.

BCX411 - 13 Sept
Hi All,
I will take BCX411 on 13 Sept and will share the experience about it
Thanks for all the comments about the exams, I found them very useful. If you have any plus comments or advises about this exam I would appreciate it.
- Bonus question: I have an open thread here called "Move Users between servers in different Domino domain" (sorry I am new here, no right to put link into my post..)
I am curious about your opinion on it, especially for those who already passed this exam

Hmm. I still haven't received that. Sigh. Someone email Wendy (or whatever her name is) and see about when we should expect our BCX-610 results

Just a heads up to the people asking about how long for results.... I took:
BCX-212: Supporting BlackBerry Enterprise Server/IBM Lotus Domino: 4th June
BCX-211: Supporting BlackBerry Devices in an Enterprise Environment: 3rd July
BCX-411: Maintaining BlackBerry Enterprise Server/IBM Lotus Domino: 12th Sept
So far, no results. Every time I have booked the exam on pretty much the last day of the Beta, and then RIM extended the testing period. My boss keeps asking me how I did - I wish I knew!!

No!
The Beta has likely finished, thus why you can't book it. However, as the Beta takers have not had any results back for 211, we can safely assume that the "final" exam is not ready.
Not really too much point pushing for a timeline on these Betas, it will only change/extend anyway
--------------------
Update: After it's extension, the Beta for 211 ended on August 1st. RIM said beta results would be out about 8 weeks after this, so I think realistically the "final" exam will be October at the earliest...

Bcx-411
Hi All,
I have finally finished BCX411. A few hours after the exam, I got an email from the program team that BCX-411 and 611 beta period is extended until October 31th. So, anyone who may thought about trying this, have a little more time
However they also stated that the exam results will be available only 6-8 weeks after the beta period end...means that I can probably put it under the christmas tree :(
Anyway, the exam was not as difficult as I first guessed (which not necessarily means that I passed it...).
A few points which were in focus:

Tonhal, I'd be careful about the level of detail you post on this site. You signed an NDA with RIM when sitting the exam, you're not really meant to discuss what types of questions are on there... Particularly your line about "-Process flow on BES" - you give (IMO) the entire question away. Not good, really...

Ok Jadey, I removed it.
I just didn't want to read that through
However 90% of the content was collected from this topic, just in a little bit more organized structure...

Woo! Just got my results back for BCX-211, 74% so a pass.
I think that makes me a BlackBerry® Certified Support Specialist now. Ooh, shiny.
