Default Challenging touchscreen

Hi, the new 9900 is ok and i am sure with use will be great but i do find the inadvertent sending of unfinished emails and calling people i don't mean to call and opening web pages i didn't mean to open quite irritating after a while, is there any way of making the touchscreen sensitivity such that only quite deliberate finger input will have any effect?

Is this happening while you're actually in the act of using it and you're accidentally pressing things or when its in your pocket? If it's the latter I would suggest using the lock button at the top of the phone.

Regarding touch screen sensitivity --
There is a double tap setting under Options//Typing+Language//Touchscreen Sensitivity.
The default is 350. I have also set the hover time to SLOW and unchecked the OPEN POPUP MENU ON TOUCH-HOLD.

The biggest complaint I had and solved is when SCROLLING using the optical track pad, I would hit a link and go off somewhere unwanted.
Solution -- Create a thumb-bumper --
1. Using black goriilla tape or electrical tape
2. Cut 2 VERY THIN 5mm strips with a razor blade
3. Carefully stack them on top of eachother
4. Tape the stacked pair above the optical trackpad
It is a bit of a McGyver move, but it works.
And only YOU know its there - vitually invisible.
