Hello all.

I found this site after finally making the decision that, while it's incredibly cool, I just don't need the HTC Tytn. I'm looking for a device that above all, is a solid phone. I also want e-mail access, QWERTY texting, and a decent camera. Video and GPS are nice additions, but not on the must have list.

So here I am. Now I just need to search the forum for which Curve to get.

I'll be seeing you.

Glad to be here, everyone. A question to make sure I'm reading correctly...
8310 (gps, no video, flash mem 64mb)
8320 (no vid, no gps, wifi (as you point out))
8330 (vid and gps, flash mem 96mb)

It seems more memory is always better... Is the 8330 a bad choice for some reason?

(Are questions ok here? Should I take this to the curve forum?)

The 8330 does not have 96Mb of memory. It still has the standard 64Mb.

All the Curve devices will get video when OS 4.5 comes out.

Nothing like being misled by the manufacturers site!! Thanks for the heads up.
I also read that a time is coming when all the Curves will have video... That makes the decision easier (?)

Maybe 'tis I who is misled. I see the site does say 96Mb on the 8330. I didn't know that.

I'm totally new to the BB world and numbering/naming scheme. I don't see a listing for 8325 anywhere...

From what I've read, the 8330 isn't due til May... I'm not sure I want to wait an additional month. Mostly because I know that, in a month, there will be another device worth waiting a month for and so on, and so on...

Sorry, I jest....

That was my way of saying I'd like a Curve with 96Mb of internal device memory.

I actually thought, "I'll bet he's making a joke" for a full six seconds before clicking "submit reply".
