I was having issues with my phone's headphone jack last week, but this week the problem seems to be resolved. I had called VZW and had them send me a replacement. It should be coming in today. Since my phone seems to be ok now, should I keep my phone, or should I keep the replacement? My concern is that if the replacement will be a refurbished unit (as I've seen many people have returned their device for a new one) or should I suspect a new phone to come in since the phone just came out and they shouldn't have any units refurbished just yet?

Thanks guys!

What were the "issues with your phone's headphone jack" you were having?

They haven't been out long enough to be sending refurbs already. They need to go back to the factory and through a whole process before they can be used as refurbs. I believe federal law also says they must be marked as refurbs.

Besides, I don't recall exactly, but you may have a 30 day return for whatever reason with Verizon, other than physical damage.

Yeah, there is a 30 day return, for any reason you want. The only issue is, if you purchase another phone within like 3 days of the return, you get charged a restocking fee. However, you can return your phone, enable your old phone with not additional charge.

I'm returning the phone and getting a replacement - physical damage.

The issue. I tried putting in my AUX cable into my phone and it wouldn't go in. As though something inside of it was not sitting right, and was blocking the way. I tried it several times, but never wanted to force it in - as to not damage the phone. Today I tried using my headphones that came with the phone and it went in fine, then I tried the AUX cable in my car and it worked... so I don't know what the issue could have been, or it got fixed...
