Default Using both Mac and PC

I am thinking about getting a pearl, and was wondering if I could go back and forth on OS with it? at home I use a MAC but my office uses Windows. Will I run into any problems (aka will i only be able to use one or the other?) any insight would be great. My main purpose for the pearl is for scheduling/calender use - I would be using Oracle at work on PC and then iCal at home on the mac.
