Default Will BB ever have MS Office editing?

Please Login to Remove!

I want to come back to BB, as many people have. But I have two things holding me back.
1. Editing Word, PowerPoint Docs. - BB is supposed to be the businessman's friend, but does not have a major capability that would help us out. I have the 8525 now, and I love being able to modify and edit documents while on the throne (quiet time).

2. The price I paid for my for my 8525.

My questions is, "When will BB be able to edit MS OFFICE?"

83xx with WIFI and 3G....is the perfect BB. IMHO

There's several aftermarket software packages that claim to allow MS Office (Word & Excel) editing available on Handango. Prices range from $59-200. ...and, no, I haven't tried them, so I can't report on how well they work.

I think RIM is working toward that but it'll be a while. Hopefully the Documents to Go will pan out. I always liked it on my old Palm.

+1 on that. Docs to go was a great palm app that I wouldn't mind having on my BB.

right now Eoffice is your best optionDynoPlex,Inc. is a leading developer of wireless document management solutions for handheld devices and enterprise grade productivity applications for RIM Blackberry.
i dropped $165 for a key when they had 3.0 it's now 4.0 an works on future versiona and the key can be swapped from one pin to another i use all the time @ work best money i ever spent

i think the reson why rim hasn't had MSoffice modifiers is caus that would force thm to sign a blanket contract with satansoft an jack the price of the phone up by $2-300. BAD idea. the day that happens is the day rim dumps BB OS for WinMO

i'm waiting to see if google will make their web apps mobile. I would be more than happy to use them rather than waiting for RIM or MS to put something out.
