Yes.. I'm a newbie.. I've search the forum to get an answer but didn't find anything, so... sorry if this has been discussed before. So here is my problem; When my phone is locked (with my password) and I receive a call from a number that is in my contact list, it only shows ''Incoming call'' with the phone number but not the name. I tried the same thing when the phone is not locked and the Name shows, along with the phone number. Is there a way to fix this? I'd like to see the name of people calling me even when my device is locked.

Depending on the OS you can go to Options >Security Options >General Settings and under Content Protection there is a menu item that says "Include Address Book". Set it to "No." If the option is not there then it's not possible unless you can disable the password feature.

On my 8700c I had the same problem when I had content encryption enabled. I guess that the device didn't have time to decrypt the callers info while it was ringing. After I disabled content encryption, caller id worked fine-whether the device was locked or not.
