Hey folks..

Getting frustrated with this bug my phone has. Before it's asked, yes, I've rebooted, used DM5.0 to update several times, resent service books, done battery pulls, and have uninstalled, reinstalled programs... HOWEVER...haha...

The issue is that the homescreen icons will NOT update when actions or updates to said programs occur...

Weatherberry for example on the homescreen does not update, while the same icon in the applications screen...does.

Envelope icon for messages (yes, I have all combined) does not indicate new or read... in other words, no red star indicator....however, in the application menu screen....it does.

Facebook...same thing.

Anyone have any ideas????

Yes, I am using the stock Precision Tour theme. No, I do NOT have 3rd party themes installed at this time.

And, you do have the messages notification set to notify...

Messages > Options > General Options > Display New Message Indicator = YES

So you have two icons for programs...you keep 1 on the home screen and one in the app folder? And the one in the app folder is updating but the one in the home screen is not?

Apparently moving the Messages icon from the homescreen to 7+ space
then moving back fixes the no red star issue.

no idea about weatherberry though.
