If anyone hears of any in stock in a Seattle-area store, I'd love to hear about it. Of the 3 locations I called:

-Pacific Place mall: "Sometime this week."
-Northgate mall: "It's been delayed until March." (!!!)
-Bellevue Sq. mall: "Sometime within a month."

Ah, communication...

I too called all stores in the Pittsburgh area and everyone told me that they don't have them (they also acted like they were tired of being asked the question!). Two stores told me that they aren't going to be getting them in until the very end of the month.

I am jealous of all of you who are getting them today!

I called all the Cingular stores in my area Watertown, NY, None had them yet. I am not surprised this is a rural area. I just hope they will have them by the launch date

Looks like Houston is the only place the 8800 was sold. Either they are lucky or someone is in BIG trouble!

How about you Houston people keeping us entertained till Tuesday!

Congrats to all of you!

That's not true. Dallas has them as well. My cousin just bought him one from the Cedar Hill (Dallas Suburb) location an hour ago.

No. He got in on a $349 upgrade.

I can't believe those chumps wouldn't sell me one outright.

Not that anyone on here would probably care, but the one Cingular store in Iowa City, IA says "early next week". When I bought my Pearl earlier this week, my rep said they were supposed to receive their shipment this Monday or Tuesday and they should be available to purchase on Wednesday. Now, I just need to decide if I should keep the Pearl or go back to QWERTY goodness!

Got mine - Cost me 411 with tax included. They were closing up the the sales rep was anxious to sell it to me.

But I'm jealous of the guy in Houston that got his for 299

Has anyone found 8800s in the Denver area?

I've called most of the Cingular stores and got answers ranging from "next week" to "sometime this month."
