Default 8330 won't turn on!

So last night I was having issues with my computer (unrelated) so I decided to say "Screw it" turn the computer off and watch TV instead. I grabbed my phone and plugged it in to the USB charger and it showed the usual little "I'm plugged in icon", so I figured it would charge even though the computer was off. Granted, I still had 3 bars of battery left, I was just topping it off, not charging from nothing.

Anyway, this morning I go to get my phone, and the screen is white with the little sand-timer icon right before it goes black and the red LED comes on. I did a couple of battery pulls, cuz I figured it can't be low on battery since it was plugged in all night, but nothing happens.

I get to work this morning and plug it in to the USB charger here, and finally get the battery/lightening bold symbol for a while before it turns back off again. I've done a couple of battery pulls now, but still nothing.

What gives? It should have FULL battery, not NO battery.

Remove the microSD card, if you use one, and try again.

Oops... Right. No USB power if the computer is off. I focused on the end of the post re the blackberry shutting off.

Leave the blackberry charging for a little while and then see what happens.

Some computers have an active charging USB port even if the computer is off to allow you to charge devices. An example of one of these computers is the Toshiba Mini NB305-N410 netbook computer.

Although, he most likely doesn't have one of these computers.
