Default 9100 wifi issues?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone else is having issues getting onto some public wifi hotspots? I have used it at home, office, GOGO inflight with no issues, btu then when I was at some malls it did not work. I picked up the 9100 from Bell, and have the latest .689 OS

Wirelessly posted (White and Nerdy)

Are you not 'seeing' the networks? Are there errors shown?

hi dan,

So it connects but does not get as far as the grey wifi symbol, it never goes white. I guess it seems the type of wifi encryption?

Nope was an open wifi hotspot. I tried with a Htc Hero and it worked. It seems the new OS helped ?

i had an issue with the wifi dropping the saved spots each day and not picking them up the next day.
.696 fixed that problem also. So try it and it might work for you.
