I have a BB 7730 which only allows emergency calls only! I have an agreement with O2 and my BB SiM works fine in my mobile phone. I have tried everything I can, resetting the BB (hard / soft), have all the right signal strengths etc. Has anyone come across this problem? I have been advised by my service provider that it is probably a fault with the BB.

How's your batter life on your device? The only time I get the "emergency only" notice is when my batter is low or I'm out of coverage area. If the following two don't apply you may very well have a faulty device.

Did you buy these BlackBerrys second hand, perhaps off of eBay or something like that, or are they brand new models?

Same problem with mine... 7230 Version...

But I can dial out from the Voda Icon on the BB... ie the top up line ?

Nope... Just get the 3 sounding barred tone....

But phone cannot be barred... It dials 112 and topup line from Voda icon..
